Deloitte marked its 2025 Impact Day with staff volunteering across Bermuda to support local nonprofits and community projects.

A spokesperson said, “Impact Day is Deloitte’s annual celebration of its ongoing commitment to community investment in Bermuda.

“On Thursday, November 6, Deloitte held its 2025 Impact Day, with staff stepping away from their desks to take part in the firm’s signature volunteer initiative. 100 employees participated across eight sites, aligining with Deloitte’s Corporate Social Responsibility Pillars: Youth, Seniors, Education, and the Environment.

“Deloitte partnered with nonprofits across the island, including the Bermuda Audubon Society, Bermuda National Trust, Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, Keep Bermuda Beautiful, Lady Cubitt, National Museum of Bermuda, Transitional Community Services, and Women’s Resource Centre.”

A team of 15 volunteers spent the day at the Transitional Community Services, assisting with refurbishments to help enhance the organization’s community space.

Dr. Tiffanne Thomas, Founding Executive Director & Vice Chair of the Board, commented, “We are deeply grateful to Deloitte for choosing to partner with Transitional Community Services for their recent Impact Day. Acts of kindness such as this not only enhance our physical space but reinforce the message that our young men are valued and supported by the wider community. Ensuring that TCS remains a welcoming and safe environment is central to our work, and partnerships like this remind us that collective effort can have a lasting impact.”

Keep Bermuda Beautiful hosted volunteers for a central clean-up, beginning with a tour of the Tynes Bay facility followed by an art session at the K. Margaret Carter Centre. Angel Smith, Executive Director, shared, “The KBB team extends heartfelt thanks to the members of Deloitte. Seeing the Deloitte team’s positivity and engagement was inspiring, and we look forward to next year.”

In partnership with the Bermuda National Trust, 25 Deloitte employees supported restoration efforts at High Point Nature Reserve, one of Bermuda’s last remaining untouched open spaces and the latest site acquired through Buy Back Bermuda. Myles Darrell, Head of Natural Heritage, noted, “It was a pleasure to welcome the Deloitte team to High Point Nature Reserve for Impact Day. Their hard work and enthusiasm directly support the Bermuda National Trust’s mission to protect and restore Bermuda’s natural and cultural heritage. Together, we made real progress — from planting native species to uncovering historic treasures — and had an amazing time doing it.”

Jimmy Caplice, Partner & Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, summarized the day’s impact, stating, “Impact Day reflects our commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work. This year, Deloitte is proud to collaborate with eight local organizations, and we trust that the time our professionals dedicated will help these nonprofits continue delivering essential work to our local communities.”
