Skyport Announces Christmas Carol-Off Winners
Bermuda Institute, Berkeley Institute, Northlands Primary, and Dalton E. Tucker Primary won top honours at Skyport’s Great Christmas Carol-Off with finalists set to perform at the Winners’ Concert.
A spokesperson said, “Skyport’s third annual Great Christmas Carol-Off concluded after three spirited competition days on December 2, 4, and 5. To ensure every school could participate fully, Skyport provided free transportation and meals for more than 700 students across the island. Following careful review by judges Sakaela Jahstice, Narek Darbinyan, and Ru-Zelda Severin, the finalists have been chosen to perform at the Winners’ Concert at L.F. Wade International Airport on Saturday, December 13, where Bermuda’s young voices will take centre stage.

“These schools impressed the judges with their harmony, creativity, and festive flair. Winning schools will each be awarded $5,000, runners‑up $2,000, and the People’s Choice Award $1,200.
“Skyport applauded the dedication of every choir, noting the creativity and energy each group brought to the stage. From traditional carols to performances featuring localised lyrics reflecting Bermuda’s culture, the event showcased the passion and promise of the island’s young musicians.
“The Winners’ Concert will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 7 PM to 9 PM. Tickets are sold out, with limited standing room available. Guests will enjoy festive performances by the finalists, seasonal entertainment, and a holiday vendor market offering local goods and treats. Special host Jesse Seymour will lead the evening, guiding audiences through a night of music, celebration, and holiday cheer. Complimentary parking will be available in the short-term lot, with overflow accommodated in the long-term lot.”
