Collision Involving Small Truck & Car In Warwick
A collision involving a small truck and a car occurred on Middle Road near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “At approximately 11:45 am on Sunday, 18 January 2026, police and other first responders were dispatched to reports of a collision on Middle Road near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick involving a small truck and a car.
“Details remain limited at this time. However, it is believed the truck was approaching the Middle Road/Cobbs Hill Road junction when it reportedly suffered mechanical issues and collided with a car traveling in the westbound lane.
“The female driver of the car had to be extricated by Fire Service personnel and was the only person reported injured. She was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries unknown injuries.
“Traffic is currently being managed around the scene while police work to clear the roadway.”
