BIU Launches 80th Anniversary Photo Exhibits
The BIU will launch new historical photo exhibits at its headquarters on February 13 to celebrate 80 years of the labour movement, featuring tributes to the union’s history and Dr. E.F. Gordon.
A spokesperson said, “The BIU Executive Board invites members, social partners, and the wider public to attend the official launch of newly installed historical photo exhibits at BIU Headquarters. This event marks the beginning of a series of activities celebrating 80 years of the labour movement and the founding of the Bermuda Industrial Union in 1946.
“The three featured exhibits include:
- A Tribute to 80 Years of the Labour Movement;
- A Tribute to Dr. E.F. Gordon; and
- History Repeats Itself.
“The exhibition will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at BIU Headquarters. Visitors are invited to enjoy an open house and happy hour, with music and light refreshments.”
