Jahni Simmons Trains At St George’s Park
Bermuda women’s national team footballer Jahni Simmons and her Future Pro Academy Scholars have developed their skills at St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent – the home of the England national teams.
Leading the session was Carla Ward, the head coach of the Republic of Ireland women’s national team.
“Opportunities like this are massive for the development of the women’s pathway,” read a Future Pro Academy social media post.
“Exposure to an international head coach, inside a world-class facility, is exactly the level of experience that accelerates growth and raises expectations.”
Simmons, who plays as a striker Coventry Sphinx Ladies, helped Bermuda win the gold medal at the International Island Games in Orkney, Scotland, last summer.
