Erica Hawley Set For Season Opener
Bermuda triathlete Erica Hawley will get her season underway at the Ironman 70.3 Dallas Little Elm on Sunday [March 15].
Hawley joins the elite women’s field in the race, which features a 1.2-mile swim, 56.1-mile bike and 13.1-mile run.
The Olympian wrote on social media: “And just like that it’s race week.
“The start of the season always pops up sooner than expected, but I’m excited to give the 70.3 distance another go.
“Winter in Boulder [Colorado] has been tolerable this year, so luckily been able to train outside for most of this build. Let’s see what’s possible.”
