Butterfield Names Brad Rowse New CFO

Rowse_BThe Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited today [Sept 27] announced that it has appointed Bradley J. Rowse as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Rowse joins Butterfield from Scotiabank in Toronto where he was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for International Banking, with overall responsibility for the financial accounting function in over 40 countries. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Mr. Rowse spent 13 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Canada.

At Butterfield, Mr. Rowse will be responsible for the Group’s accounting, finance and treasury functions. The finance teams in all seven of Butterfield’s jurisdictions will report to him.

Bradford Kopp, Butterfield’s President & Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are very pleased that Brad has joined Butterfield as our new CFO. His background in international banking and his proven track record in managing finance teams across multiple jurisdictions make him an excellent fit for the job. I know Brad will be a great asset to our team.”

Mr. Rowse and his family have relocated to Bermuda from Oakville, Canada.
