The Bermuda National Rugby Team – and a championship trophy – arrived at the LF Wade International airport this evening [June 23] after winning the 2011 NACRA Caribbean Championships. Pink Route: Weekend/Holiday Ferries Return
This afternoon [June 23] Minister of Transport Terry Lister announced that Government will be reinstating the weekend and holiday ferry service on the Paget/Warwick route starting this coming Monday [June 27]. FIFA: Mussenden Steps Down From Appeal
Larry Mussenden withdrew from a case involving Mohamed bin Hammam because he gave evidence of an alleged election bribery plot involving the Qatari official. Ball Hockey Team Wins Pool B
Bermuda faced off against Cayman in their third match of the 2011 Ball Hockey World Championships in Slovakia, and the gam ended in a scoreless draw. Tourists On Jet Ski Crash Into Pylon
Two American tourists were injured after they struck a pylon while riding a jet ski in the waters off Daniel’s Head, Sandys parish.
