Bermuda’s motoring enthusiasts got into top gear yesterday [Nov.20] to make their way to the Southside Motor Sports Park in St. David’s for TORCs Grand Auto-Moto Saloon — an exposition featuring cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles.

Show categories included the following: Best Car, Truck, SUV, Cycle; CableVisions Custom Creations; Pepsi Classic Tuner; Autobahn Bling Bling; Unique Audios ICE-Off; Roaring Lions GP Hot Rods and TORCs Heavy Trucker.

Gates opened at 1:00pm, with vintage and show cars on display for the public to view and appreciate.

Representatives of new energy drink Raging Lion were on hand handing out free samples, and vendors also provided refreshments including popcorn and hot dogs. Unique Audio had an exhibit of products available for the auto enthusiast and Bermuda Cablevision  – sponsors for the event –had staff on hand handing out free gifts to the crowd.

Fans of all ages slowly passed through the vehicles admiring the cosmetic work and entertainment systems on display.

The crowds were entertained when a few drag races were held between a car and motorcycle on the track with the bike appearing to win most of the races held.

Trophies were presented at the end of the day to winners of the different show divisions.
