New Role For Eaton At Ignition

Reflecting the growth of its Business Solutions practice, leading Bermuda-based Information Technology solutions provider, Ignition, has appointed Christopher Eaton to the newly created position of Director of Business Solutions.

In this role Mr. Eaton will be responsible for driving growth across the complete range of Business Solutions services.

Michael W. Branco, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Ignition Group says “Christopher’s extensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients in the offshore market together with his expertise in technology solutions made him the ideal person to lead our Business Solutions practice.

With more than 20 years of experience in the IT sector, Christopher has significant strategic expertise in technology solutions which spans business process transformation, software solutions and enterprise technology architecture.

Mr. Eaton has worked within several offshore financial services centres including the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. He has held senior positions with leading technology companies including Mission Testing plc and Business Objects.

Prior to joining Ignition, Mr. Eaton helped to build an award winning business solutions practice in the Cayman Islands. He graduated with an honours degree from Brunel University in 1989 and holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

As the new Director of Business Solutions, Christopher will be responsible for developing and growing the practice across the three solution areas: software solutions based on Microsoft technologies; Practice Management solutions based on the market-leading ViewPoint application; and Records Management services including consulting, scanning and ECM solutions.
