Pedestrian Struck By Fleeing Motorcyclist
A 57-year-old woman is in hospital after being struck by a motorcyclist who was fleeing police. She was walking on Court Street at around 3.45am on Saturday morning [Sept 29] when she was struck by the motorcyclist.
The motorcycle was subsequently located and impounded, and anyone with any information regarding the rider of a white motorcycle BR 599 early Saturday morning is encouraged to contact the main police number on 295-0011
A police spokesperson said: “Around 3:45am on Saturday, September 29th police officers on mobile patrol in the City of Hamilton attempted to stop a male riding a motorcycle along Front Street; however the rider accelerated away.
“In his attempt to elude pursuing officers, the male rider later collided with a female pedestrian on Court Street. As a result the victim, a 57 year old Paget woman, sustained a leg injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“At last check she was recovering on a general ward. The motorcycle involved was subsequently located and impounded. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information regarding the rider of a white motorcycle BR 599 early Saturday morning is encouraged to contact the main police number on 295-0011″

unless the said motorcycle was reported stolen prior to this incident ….then its quite simple …the owner should be charged and sentenced to prison…i bet names will come a rollin in then….

Hope this wasn’t Fifi. I always see her walking Trimingham Hill, she must live in Paget somewhere….although if this was Fifi, she woulda bounced back up from being hit and started beatin up whoever the rider was. Then the rider would be the one in the hospital. So yea….can’t be Fifi.
