Bermuda Team Win CEA Dressage Competition

Yesterday [Nov 10] Bermuda won won the Adult Team competition in the CEA Dressage Competition, defeating teams from Jamaica, Cayman, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago.

Bermuda also placed second in the Children’s Team competition, where they also competed against teams from Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Cayman Islands.

All competitors ride the same set of tests and receive a score with the highest score winning. The judge, Ann Forer of the USA, traveled to the different islands to judge the competition.

Being the last of five countries to compete, Bermuda needed to beat Barbados’ score of 201.379% and rose to the occasion by finishing with 202.231%. The Cayman Islands won the children’s competition with 208.621%, while Bermuda was second with 195.344%.
