Video/Results: Dragons, Bearcats Win Playoffs
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Premier Basketball League’s Playoffs got underway inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a double header on Saturday night [Jan 26].
In the opening game the Devonshire Dragons defeated the Hamilton Tsunamis 93 – 57. Jason Lowe led the Devonshire Dragons to victory with 40 points, while Calvert Lee scored 19 points for the Hamilton Tsunamis.
In the nightcap the Paget Bearcats defeated the Southampton Titans 79 – 74. The Paget Bearcats were led to victory by Karim O’Connor who scored 20 points, while Jerrico Tucker scored 21 points for the Southampton Titans
The next games will be held on January 30th, with the Southampton Titans taking on the Hamilton Tsuunamis at 6.30pm, and the Devonshire Dragons meeting up with the Paget BearCats at 7.45pm.
