Outback BDA To Host Overnight Hiking Camp

Best Days Adventures are having a hiking camp for Bermuda’s teens to experience the great out-of-doors. It is called ‘Outback, BDA”. The camp is an overnight camp [seven days/six nights], starting from Sandy’s Parish and hiking the railway tracks to St. George’s, sleeping in designated camp sites along the journey.

The hosts said the overall goal is to provide an opportunity to learn about and experience Bermuda by having out-of-door adventures.

A spokesperson said,We have also included some activities which encourage the campers to give back to our country, like participating in a trash-a-thorn, making rock gardens and planting cedar tree seedlings along the way.

Other activities will include nature studies, exploring forts, map skills, exercising, archery, camp fires, canoeing, horseback riding, obstacle course and more. Campers will be awarded certificates and awards for any activity they complete in good standing.
