Bermuda U/15 Football Team Defeat Cayman 3-0

[Updated] The Bermuda Under 15 Football Team won their third consecutive game in the CONCACAF U15 Championships, defeating the Cayman Islands 3-0 last night [Aug 16].

Oneko Lowe put Bermuda on the board in the 35th minute, and then one minute into the second half Osagi Bascome scored to push Bermuda ahead 2-0.

The third and final goal came in the 42nd minute through Jai-Zel Smith-Deshields, who intercepted a back past and blew pass the last defender to score Bermuda’s third goal.

Bermuda is now 3-0 in the CONCACAF U15 Championships, having defeated the Bahamas, the US Virgin Islands and the hosts Cayman Islands.

Update 10.41am: Having scored 12 goals and conceded none, Bermuda move to second in the group. Their next match will be a ‘top of the group’ clash with Aruba.
