Basketball: Somerset & Southampton Titans Win
The opening game of Bermuda Basketball Elite City League action at the Sommersfield Academy Gymnasium this weekend saw the Somerset Flyers defeat the Pembroke Cane Toads 54 – 38.
Sabuur Talebey scored a game high 25 points to lead the Somerset Flyers to victory, while Marcus Robinson scored 11 points for the Pembroke Cane Toads.
The second game saw the Southampton Titans defeat the Paget Bearcats 53 – 30. The Southampton Titans were led to victory with Richard Warner and Jordan Knights both scoring 12 points, while Darae Smith scored 10 points for the Paget Bearcats.
