This past holiday weekend saw the island celebrate Labour Day with a Banquet and March, lobster season get underway with 450lbs of lobster caught at a tournament, the Sand Sculpture contest at Horseshoe Bay, the island’s Catholic priests take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the body of a 75 year old man found on a boat in Devonshire, Dandy Town win the Charity Cup while Cleveland County won the Eastern County Cup, two flight diversions and much more.
