Photos & Results: Netball League Matches

The Bermuda Netball Association’s League Season resumed after the Christmas Break, with action taking place on Saturday [Jan 17] in the Under 12, Under 16 and Senior Leagues

Under 12 Division

The Netts Greens went down 27 – 3 to the North Village Lady Rams, Elishae Smith scored all three goals for the Netts Greens, whiel the North Village Lady Rams got 13 goals from Toya Anderson, Gabrielle Romaine added 6 goals, Azarea Mouchette and Jai-la Wade both scored 3 times each and Rae’chelle Webster scored twice.

The Netts Whites defeated the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds 16 – 5. Amiah Butterfield led the Netts Whites to victory with 11 goals, Zidonae Robinson added 3 goals and Izeya Wainwright scored twice. Sanzia Pearman and Naila Talbot scored 2 goal each for the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds, while Denisha Warner scoring the other.

The Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds Too went down 12 – 7 to the Warriors who picked up the first ever win in the League, Kimaya Butterfield scored 9 goals for the Warriors, while Mia Robinson scored 3 times. Daaimah Millett and Rakshana Sureshkumar scored three goals each for the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds Too and Kxiyae Gibbons scored once.

Under 16 Division

Datatech Netts went down 28 – 11 to the Signworx Netts, Donnauri Robinson scored 24 goals to lead Signworx to victory, while Inshanae Smith added 4 goals, Maya Saunders scored 10 goals for the Datatech Netts, with Kaylee Lema scoring once.

The North Village Lady Rams defeated PHC 37 – 3, Xon-Naye Hunt scored 14 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Brianna Swainson added 11 goals, Candace Paynter and Tia Burrows scored 3 goals each, Jadeja Swan scored 3 goals for PHC.

The Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors edged the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Younguns 13 – 12. Kiara Francis scored 7 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors to victory, Kessiah Jackson scored 3 goals, Domiqua Daniels scored 2 goals and Zye Raynor scored once, Tanzania Thomas scored 10 goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Younguns, Zaire Lee and Zakia Lewis added one goal each.

Senior Division

Diaŕa Benjamin scored 30 goals to lead the Signworx Netts to a 42 – 16 win over the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too. Amali Smith added 12 goals, T’Yanna Hayward and Keizhari Knight scored 6 goals each for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too, while Shondanae W-Bell scored 4 goals.

The BDA College went down 59 – 14 to the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds, Ebonie Burgess led the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds to victory with 38 goals, Eshe Grant added 13 goals and Arkeita Fubler scored 8 goals.

The Young Men Social Club Blazin Bluebirds defeated the North Village Lady Rams 41 – 29. Fredrica Samuels scored 27 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Blazin Bluebirds to victory, while Imani Smith added 14 goals, Xah-Niyah Hunt scored 19 goals for the North Village Rams, with Jordyn Morris adding 10 goals.
