Tyler Butterfield Places 3rd In Ironman Brazil
Bermuda’s Tyler Butterfield got his 2015 season off to an impressive start, claiming third place among an international field at the Ironman 70.3 Latin America Championships in Brazil today [Apr 5].
Tim Don of Great Britain won the event in a time of 3:41:47, Timothy O’Donnell of the USA placed second in 3:42:40, Tyler Butterfield was third in 3:45:48, Igor Amorelli of Brazil was fourth in 3:47:53, Santiago Ascento of Brazil was fifth in 3:48:11, while Argentina’s Mario De Elias rounded out the top six in a time of 3:49:32.

Impressive that he’s kept his good run of form and continues to fly Bermuda’s flag high at these events. Well done.
