Logic Continues Cricket Sponsorship Programme
Logic Communications Ltd. has extended their partnership with the Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] for another three years and will continue sponsoring senior domestic 50 overs cricket.
The BCB said, “The Logic Cricket League will continue to consist of both the Premier and First Division Leagues. Both leagues will feature 7 clubs with each league competing for the prestigious “Logic Premier” or “Logic First Division” Champions title. The divisions will also recognize the “Logic Player of the Year” from both leagues.
“Each week Logic will reward the Premier League player of the week with a Logic gift bag and service voucher and the First Division Player of the week will receive a gift bag. Additionally at the end of the season Logic will present a “‘Player of the Year” trophy to the Most Valuable Player.
“To cap off its sponsorship package, Logic will continue to provide free-of-charge broadband Internet service to all clubs and the BCB office.”
Vicki Coelho, CEO at Logic said, “After three successful years in partnership with the BCB, and having seen firsthand the positive impact this partnership has had on Bermuda cricket at both the local and international level, renewing our partnership with BCB was the only sound thing to do.
“The provision of free Internet to community based cricket clubs will continue to give back to the community providing much needed access to a valuable information resource. Logic is proud to play an integral role in helping make this happen.”
Neil Speight, Executive Director of the BCB stated, “The BCB is thrilled to renew the partnership with Logic Communications who have consistently proven to be a community minded organization. The provision of free high speed Internet to our grass roots community based clubs has created opportunities for our clubs to build programs and increase their membership. The awarding of the ‘Player of the Week’ provides a great weekly incentive and continues to motivate our players.”
