CARIFTA Swimmers Win Eleven More Medals

A fantastic performance came to an end for Bermuda’s swimmers at the CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Jamaica as they claimed 11 more medals on the final night of competition.

Elan Daley won the 11-12 Girls 200m Backstroke Gold Medal with a time of 2:29.11, the 11-12 Girls 50m Freestyle Gold Medal was won by Daley who was clocked at 26.59, and Daley touched the wall in a time of 4:45.51 during the 11-12 Girls 400m Freestyle to win another Gold.

Jack Harvey won the 13-14 Boys 200m Backstroke Silver Medal touching the wall in a time of 2:19.70. Logan Watson-Brown picked up the 13-14 Girls 200m Backstroke Silver Medal stopping the clock in 2:32.47.

With a time of 2:32.42 Elijah Daley won the 11-12 Boys 200m Backstroke Silver Medal, while Kai Legband won the 15-17 Boys 50m Freestyle Silver Medal clocking 23.93. Brian Desmond touched the wall in a time of 4:17.80 on his way to winning the 13-14 Boys 400m Freestyle Silver Medal.

The 11-12 Girls 100m Breaststroke Bronze Medal was won by Giada Dudley-Pun who was clocked at 1:21.74. Madelyn Moore won the 15-17 Girls 50m Freestyle Bronze Medal touching the wall in a time of 26.30.
