Video: Sunday Nov 18th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Bermuda’s football team claimed an impressive 1-0 win over El Salvador, Rosedon won a Boutique Hotel Award, the Carnival Radiance & the Carnival Sunrise cruise ships will visit Bermuda in 2020, and the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre held their annual men’s health screening were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Carolyn Conway finished fifth in the over 60 age group at Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in Mexico, Digicel announced a two-year partnership with the Bermuda Netball Association to sponsor youth netball, and the ITF selected Antonio Warner to attend a training camp.
Other good news stories included ‘The Adventures of Raz’ creator being awarded a $5,000 grant, two finalists advancing to the Rocket Pitch Finals, and Butterfield Trust being named Trust Company of the Year [Large Firm] at the STEP Private Client Awards in London.
