Results: BNA Digicel Youth & Senior Division

The Bermuda Netball Association’s Digicel Under 12 & Under 16 Division, as well as the Senior League play took place at the Bernard Park.

Digicel Under 12 Division

The Digicel Under 12 Division saw the teams play a Who’s Who Tournament with the North Village Lady Rams White team winning with 9 points, while the North Village Rams Red team finished second with 6 points, the Storm finished third with 3 points and the Phoenix Sparks finished fourth.

Under 16 Division

The North Village Lady Rams Red were unable to field a team so they lost by default to the Storm Thunder who earned 3 points.

The Phoenix Fire defeated the Warriors 22 – 6. The Phoenix Fire were led by Naisiah Berkeley with 14 goals, while Kasia Weeks added 8 goals, the Warriors got 5 goals from Gihle Dailey, while Dayla Richards added the other goal.

The North Village Lady Rams White defeated Storm Thunder 18 – 16. Gabrielle Romaine led the North Village Lady Rams White to victory with 13 goals, while Sanaa Berkeley added the other 5 goals, with Sa’Mya Lightbourne named the teams MVP. MVP Amayah Burt scored six goals for the Storm Thunder, Imara Richardson added 4 goals, while Jaelan Rewan and Makaylie Smith both added 3 goals each.

Senior Division

The Phoenix Heat continued to dominate the Senior League with their skill and experience as they defeated Robin Hood 77 – 15. Danielle Raynor would score 69 goals to lead the Phoenix heat to victory, while Arkeita Fubler the teams MVP scored 8 goals, MVP Charlie Bridgeman scored 10 goals for Robin Hood and Kessiah Jackson added 5 goals.

The Lindo’s Tigers defeated the Storm Thunder 24 – 21, the Lindo’s Tigers got 12 goals from Allison Outerbridge and MVP Demiqua Daniels, while Nabiilah Nasir scored 14 goals for the Storm Thunder, Selah Tuzo added 4 goals and Kaamilah Nasir scored 3 times, while Olivia Onyia was named the teams MVP.

The final game was a great confidence booster for 5th place Storm Lightning as they battled back and forth before defeating the North Village Lady Rams 47 – 40. The Storm Lightning got 25 goals from MVP Jaylynn Hines, while Asrael Basden added 14 goals and Sonja Townsend scored 8 times. Darrika Simons scored 27 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Nakita Trott added 13 goals, and Anna Bruce Smith was named the teams MVP.
