Very good team, pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of assistant coach Janeiro Tucker in the team, no one can argue that he is not amongst the top eleven cricketers in the island despite his age, one could argue that we should be grooming a youngster and recalling him is a backward step but when one considers what he has to offer and that the format is T20 cricket I believe the Selectors have made a good choice…Now the question is this, will he be merely a reserve or in the starting eleven, quite honestly I don’t see how you can leave him out, he can bat, bowl and field… and while the team have several big hitters in Malachi Jones, Alan Douglas Jr. and Kamau Leverock I think it was a bit short of genuine batsmen…Janeiro is more than a big hitter he can bat…The challenge to finish in the top six will be tough but if the team give of their best anything can happen….Good Luck Bermie….
It’s exciting to see that new teams are getting recognition from ICC and it will be good for the game if he 25 countries playing the sport.
