ITU 2020 World Triathlon Series Schedule
The ITU 2020 Season calendar has been released, one that will see the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, along with 7 World Triathlon Series to crown the World Champions at the Edmonton Grand Final and 15 World Cups.
“I am absolutely thrilled with the new calendar, it’s a perfect mix between new additions to our portfolio of events, classic races across the world and a lot of paratriathlon races to give all our athletes opportunities to continue their path to the Olympic and Paralympic Games next year”, said ITU President and IOC member, Marisol Casado.
Bermuda will once again be the second stop of the year for the World Triathlon Series, the season will get underway March 7th & 8th in Abu-Dhabi, before the athletes head to Bermuda April 18th & 19th.
The World Triathlon Series Grand Final that will take place in Bermuda in 2021, will be held in Edmonton, Canada August 22nd & 23rd in 2020.
