Esan Frederick Promoted To Resort Manager
Rosewood Bermuda announced the promotion of Bermudian Esan Frederick to Resort Manager, where he “will oversee all operational departments, with expanded responsibility for day-to-day performance.”
A spokesperson said, “Esan Frederick is promoted to the position of Resort Manager. Having dedicated 14 years to the property, Esan’s journey is a true reflection of what passion, commitment and perseverance can achieve. Throughout his tenure, he has worked across virtually every facet of the operation, building an exceptional understanding of both the resort and the people who make it what it is today.
Mr Frederick said, “I am deeply honoured to be appointed Resort Manager at Rosewood Bermuda. As a proud Bermudian with 14 years of experience here, it is a privilege to represent my home and contribute to a global brand as prestigious as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts – a brand that embodies timeless luxury, exceptional service, and heartfelt hospitality.
“It is my endeavour to continue building upon the resort’s legacy by creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, both local and international, and members alike. I am deeply humbled by this trust, and I look forward to guiding our team into a brilliant era of hospitality excellence.”
The spokesperson said, “In this role, Esan will oversee all operational departments, with expanded responsibility for day-to-day performance and delivering a consistently exceptional guest experience throughout the resort.”

At the time of the 2011 Tucker’s Point Special Development Order, Gencom/Rosewood/Tucker’s Point promised that there would be opportunities for young Bermudians to be sent to train overseas. Have we got any reports of any of those opportunities actually happening?
This should have happened a long time ago. He is very deserving of this position, and it is encouraging to see a capable Bermudian being recognized. Too often, leadership roles across the hotel industry are filled from outside when qualified Bermudians are ready and deserving of these opportunities. This applies across all departments, including dining, housekeeping, operations, and management. More must be done to prioritize, develop, and promote Bermudian talent at every level.
