Two Accidents Send Three to Hospital

Three motorcyclists were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance yesterday [Dec 7] following two separate accidents that occurred in Paget.

Around 9:25pm last night two cycles collided on Trimingham Road in Paget. The two riders, a 19 year old Smith’s parish man and a 22 year old Paget woman were injured and taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Seymour Foote on 295-0011.

Around 2:45pm that same day a 54 year old Paget man riding a motorcycle crashed into a utility pole on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Highwood Lane. The Paget man was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Stephen Paynter on 295-0011.

    Sadly this time of the year seems to be the worst for accidents. Too many people in a rush to go no where and something has got to give.
