Not again!
Someone is harbouring this minor. He isn’t sleeping in the tees! BPS start charging people who hide these children from the law and their parents – PLEASE!
maybe since he is constantly running away and this is the third time this year then they should either put and ankle bracelet on him or they shouild give him a lil bit of jail time to set him straight…
Send him to a behavioral camp. Couple of good ones in Utah.
I agree, I was against sending kids to those types of extreme facilities but I know someone who sent their kid to one, and wow what a difference. What a turn around in attitude! Im sure not everyone has the same result, but it helped a kid that I thought was beyond help. Sad to say but I couldnt help and I tried everything I could think of.
dont even make sense worryin bout him. this is just a waste of article. he needs to be locked up.
Waste of time locking him up also, let him be homeless. Save some money!
Clearly this is a problem. He is in a Government facility for boys and he keeps running away. Well, he needs to to in a lockdown facility or his guardians need to be fired.
What most do not understand his constant running away it is costing us when the police and other helping professionals must search for him.
There is much more going with this young man and he needs strict observation and monitoring. Shame on the facility that is housing him and the people watching him.
Was it anyone’s business that he lives in a Government facility? Did you really feel it was necessary to post? Mind your business.
I wonder if CPS has done an investigation as to why this young man keeps running away from home. Something is clearly wrong – either with his home life or just with him.
There is obviously something wrong in this child’s household . . . why hasn’t Child Protective Services stepped in?
Maybe it’s because there isn’t anything actually ‘wrong’ in his household. The ‘wrong’ is in his head , trying to be something he can’t be . Maybe he’s running away from the structure and discipline at home. Notice where he likes to hang out ? I’m sure his parents aren’t settling for that .
And if this is the case then that still signifies something is wrong and he needs to be removed from the home. As I now understand it from the comments here, he is already in care. So why hasn’t he been sent to the coed facility for 9 months to three years. Here we are in a state of debt, government calling for civil servants to take pay cuts, violence occurring and we are wasting time and resources looking for this young man. Put him in a secure facility where he can’t run away . . .it’s that simple!!!!
Wow! You barely get 3 yrs for murder and drug possession and you want to lock up a run-a-way for up to three years at that huge cost to you and all the tax payers. What a great solution you have.
He and his family live in the area he “frequents”. That’s right Toodle-oo… white people live on Parsons Road too.
Don’t be so judgmental. I’m disgusted by your comment especially when you state “the ‘wrong’ is in his head , trying to be something he can’t be” and “notice where he likes to hang out ? I’m sure his parents aren’t settling for that “. It really is sad how some people think. It always comes down to race and I’m just about sick of it.
From what I know this young man now lives at the boys’ home. He comes from a troubled home and it is most unfortunate someone was not able to step in and help earlier in his life.
Maybe you should heed your own user name and also grow some thicker skin at the same time.
There was nothing racial about my post whatsoever, I’m sure that there’s people of all descriptions who live in ‘that area’ that wouldn’t want their children ‘hanging out’ in more specific places of the area.
If this kid is already living in ‘a home’ then that should have also been made clear in this and previous articles.
Just speculating here , but how did he end up in ‘care’ anyway and why doesn’t he run back home when he escapes ?
Maybe you’d like to commment on all the other ‘judgmental’ remarks too .
Agreed Toodle-oo, there is nothing racist in your comment.
The irony in “Think before you comment” eh?
Sir/Madam, you have a major chip on your shoulder.
So we have one. The exception that proves the rule.
He is not in his home at the moment he is in care……
This guy is still missing?
This boy, and most of the appeals for missing boys, are being housed in a boys home. We should start asking why they are able to escape from this home. Answer,,First hand knowledge, staff there sleep on duty through the night making it easy for them to make their escape. They know how they are escaping but dont do a whole lot to prevent it. Have even heard them joking amongst themselves,, “oh so and so got away again lol”
Hire responsible staff and we wont be seeing these appeals as much
Since I worked for residential care previously, please understand that there are no bars on the windows at these residential treatment homes, as they are not supposed to be punitive measures. At night, staff do rounds, they don’t sit there and watch the doors or sit outside of each room and listen for windows opening.
We have got to begin to place ownership and responsibility on our boys . . .they have to learn that their actions got them to the point that they are at, and if not their actions, that the events in their lives are what they are, but it is their response to those events which determine their ultimate outcome. Hence if he chooses to keep running from an unsecure unit, then he will have to be in a secure facility.
I just hope and pray that much has changed since I worked there and at the coed facility, in tat they are doing social skills group work with these young men and getting them counseling, because if they aren’t then they are just housing then like prisoners.
They (staff) also sleep through the night and since you previously worked there you already know its truth
:blinky +2 Unjrust Realities well said
de youth need love
there is something going on with this boy and he needs help!
This is just embarrassing now…
just leave him out there life is a good enough lesson for him..it will teach him some get right…sink or swim!
maybe he likes the attention which is why he runs away so much. you dont need the public to help find him… stop publishing it in the paper…
It’s a website!
First of all, he doesn’t come from a troubled home. His brother and sisters have all been successful. His oldest sister is a nuclear engineer for gods sake. He is not running away from home, but from the boys home. He doesn’t “frequent the Parsons Road” area. He has lived nearly his entire life on that road. And he does have an ankle bracelet on… As you can see, it helps a lot.
let me guess.. this is his cousin defending him again..
Is that eminem ?
Maybe you all should just stop judging ………. oh, that’s too hard right …
im sure u judge people too…EVERYONE DOES!
