  1. Nuffin but da Truth says:

NO way was that van being driven at the correct speed limit!

    • Really?? says:

Yes, both cars were traveling at the correct speed. No one was speeding. Remember it’s raining today and the roads are wet. Accidents do happen in the rain. I know someone that was traveling along the road at the same time and witnessed it.

“It appears that a van was being driven along North Shore Road when it collided with a parked van, causing the parked van to go through a wall and collide with a parked car.”

Really?? Both cars were travelling at the correct speed?? The article states that the van collided with a “parked” van. Exactly what did your friend witness?

        • Come On Man says:

@eyes on the road. Someone ‘REALLY’ needs to pay attention at what they are reading. LOL!

          • Really?? says:

Oops….LOL….Error wrong msg! Duhhh….. Come on Man! lol

        • Benevides says:

Instead of gossiping about something you know nothing about, why don’t you consider an alternative situation to speeding……like a medical emergency for the driver. That, by the way, happens to be the truth because he is a member of my family and in the hospital now with a serious condition. Show a little sensitivity and seek silence until you know all the facts! But for a small twist of fate, this could be your relative in the hospital tonight.

          • Really?? says:

At Benevides, very well written. Until it happens to them they wldn’t know what it feels like! Ppl are insensitive. I hope and Pray that your relative will be ok. Stay Strong!

      • doubtful says:

um only ONE van was moving, the other vehicles were parked! there is no possible 35km can cause this damage ……

        • Sorry Sir says:

35k? Don’t make me laugh, who does that speed anyway? I guarantee not you nor me.

    • iabingi says:

When viewing this picture it looks like the van was parked on a yellow line? Yellow lines are there for a reason.

  2. Johnboy says:

2 Toyota Hiaces. Looks like more business for Bermuda Motors.

  3. Bored by ignorance says:

The speed limit is the maximum speed vehicles are permitted to travel> it does not prevent one from slowing down when conditions of the road require. If the roads are wet you are supposed to slow down your speed

  4. notta copper says:

what does the yellow line in the picture stand for??

    • Come On Man says:

      @notta copper. No parking.

      • longtail says:

        Bike lane.

        • shuttuppppp says:

youre a retard… yellow line means you cant park there… its amazing how many ignorant people these days can get their licenses. its never them that ends up getting hurt, its always innocent people.

          • longtail says:

Methinks the ‘retard’ here is the one who doesn’t understand a facetious comment when he sees one….

  5. Chutie says:

People parking rite there on North Shore around First Church is always a problem waitin to happen

  6. notta copper says:

    @ come on man.
thats what I thought when I took my TCD drivers test, but like most laws in Bermuda doesn’t apply like double parking in Hamilton. At least no one was hurt, so the police should be writing 2 tickets.

  7. Soldier says:

Why we are at it. WHY DO CARS, VANS, TAXIS and everyone and their mothers have to go wide to the right when making a left at Pal La Ville red light by 24 hr gas station onto Church St. How did you people get your damn licences. So many times I am going straight towards Front St and some idiot is into my lane causing me to avoid them on a simple turn….. Pay attention, you are not driving a big mack truck …..

    • notta copper says:

      bingo, i hate that also

    • say it like it is. says:

I agree with you Soldier. These people should never drive on these roads. How about the famous, not staying on your side of the road with your big SUV. If you can;t keep the darn thing on your side, then don;t buy it!

    • spot on says:

hahahaha I couldn’t agree more!!! I hesitate to move forward when I am going down Par-La-Ville because of this nonsense.

  8. Truth is killin' me... says:

Bermudians don’t earn licences at TCD…THEY PAY FOR LICENCES!

  9. JusMyOpinion says:

@Benevides I hope your relative fully recovers. Glad nobody else was hurt.
