Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Results

The 2014/2015 Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Season Series continued with 106 riders taking to the course designed in Dockyard that took in Casemates and the Maritime Museum were the venue for the approximately 1.7 mile course.

Dominique Mayho won the Male A race clocking a time of 54:57, completing 8 laps, Matthew Oliveira finished second crossing the line after 7 laps in a time of 50:14 and Grant Goudge finished third with a time of 50:16. During the Male A Division race, Kent Richardson was taking to the Hospital via Ambulance after crashing inside the Casemates Building, Richardson was suffering from a back and leg injury.

The Male B Division race was won by Padraic Browne who clocked 44:28, Dylan Hill finished second with a recorded time of 44:55 and Kaden Hopkins finished third with a time of 45:07. Sarah Bonnett rode to victory in the Female B Division with a time of 41:36, with Ali Watlington finishing second in 41:42 and Ashley Kirkpatrick finished third with a time of 50:45.

In the Male Veteran race Dexter Swan clocked a winning time of 44:20, Gary Raynor finished second with a time of 44:32 and Charles Swart finished third with a time of 44:33. The Female Veteran Division winner was Karen Bordage who recorded a time of 46:34, Julia Hawley was second in 41:07 and Karen Smith finished third in a time of 42:16.

During the Male Novice race Tim Miller crossed the line first with a time of 33:28, Gabriel Wilkinson finished second clocking 33:51 and Nathan Trott finished third with a time of 37:04. Joanne Medeiros won the Female Novice race recording a time of 30:06, Kelley Baxter-Williams finished second with a time of 45:34 and Charmaine Smith finished third with a time of 25:03.

The Junior Male 13 ‐ 15 Age Group winner was Sam Walsh who clocked a time of 33:51, Malik Joell was second in a time of 34:15 and Alexander Miller was third with a time of 37:23.
