Basketball Elite City League: Lions, Falcons Win
The Bermuda Basketball City Elite League season came to an end inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with 253 points in a double-header.
Game One saw the Lions defeat the Renegades 77 – 61, Anthony Furbert scored a game high 23 points for the Lions, he would also have 14 rebounds, 6 assist, 8 steals and 1 block shot, while Jermayne Dears scored 19 points for the Renegades, he would grab 3 rebounds to go along with 1 assist and 4 steals.
Three points would separate the Falcons and Warriors with the Falcons winning 59 – 56. Chris Crumpler would score a game high 25 points for the Falcons and he had 6 rebounds, while Jason Lowe scored 14 points for the Warriors, he grabbed 9 rebounds to go with 3 assist and 2 steals.
