Man Stable & Police Appeal For Witnesses

The 18-year-old man who was injured in a collision in Warwick on October 19 was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital, and police are appealing for witnesses following in a collision on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish on Saturday evening [Oct 20].

Injured Motorcyclist Recovering in Stable Condition on General Ward

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [October 22nd] the 18-year-old male rider injured in a collision with a car at the junction of South Road and Warwick Lane in Warwick around 10:15pm Friday, October 19th was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are now asked to call Constable James Williams on the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Witness Appeal: Two Car Collision North Shore Road, Smith’s Parish

“It now appears that the two cars involved in a collision that occurred on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Jennings Road [Police Beach area] around 9:20pm Saturday, October 20th were being driven in opposite directions at the time.

“In addition, recent information indicates that the 33-year-old female driver of the westbound vehicle, taken to hospital via ambulance for medical assessment, left of her own accord before being seen by medical staff. There were no other injuries reported.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses that have not already come forward are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
