Video: Sunday Jan 27th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that martial artists claimed a number of wins at the John Chung World Cup in Reston, Flora Duffy was named ‘Best of 2018: Bike Breakaway’, the Kiwanis Club donated to Teen Services, Bermuda swimmers won 25 medals at the Mallards Winter Long Course Invitational in Canada, and the Bermuda Tourism Authority marketing team won awards were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, the Chubb building earned Green Re-Certification, Madelyn Moore shined as Northern Colorado earned a victory, the Panama Ultra Trail Challenge raised funds, the Generation Next Youth Movement Series featured Bermudian boxer Tyler Christopher, and the Bermuda Heroes Weekend Band Launch was held.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of a field hockey double header, BNA Netball, Bermuda Karting Club racing action, the Bermuda Marathon Race Weekend finish line, the RES Hunter Jumper Show, and Party People Mas, Code Red BDA, and NOVA Mas International at the Bermuda Heroes Weekend Band Launch.
