Police Confirm Death Of 52-Year-Old Woman
Police have confirmed the death of a 52-year-old woman and said “there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:55pm Thursday, September 19th police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and ambulance personnel responded to a reported sudden death at a Cheriton Lane, Pembroke residence.
“On arrival CPR was being performed on a 52-year-old woman by a relative, with police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel joining in the lifesaving efforts – which continued as she was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
“Sadly, the woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital. No further information regarding the deceased will be provided at this time, pending next of kin notification.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a cause of death is being examined.”
