Hotlines To Assist Residents During Pandemic
The Bermuda Government and Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] are providing three different telephone hotlines to assist residents amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first hotline established aims to provide general help and answer questions, and it can be reached on 444-2498 between 9.00am and 9.00pm.
An emotional well-being hotline has also been established to aid people with their mental health as they deal with the pandemic’s effects, with Premier David Burt saying that “you will have access to a qualified, experienced mental health practitioner to talk to if you’re feeling anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or stressed.”
The emotional well-being hotline can be reached on 543-1111 from 9.00am to 9.00pm.
The BHB’s Child & Adolescent Services [CAS] team is also offering telephone support for “families with children who are worried or fearful about the Covid-19 pandemic.”
You can reach this support line on 249-3370 between 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
