Notice Of Advanced Poll [No. 2]

Notice is hereby given, due to the disruption caused by Hurricane Paulette, the advanced polls referred to in the Notice of Advanced Poll [GN 829/2020] are rescheduled as follows:

An advanced poll will be held on 16, 17, 18 and 19 September 2020 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for electors for all constituencies who are:

  • intending to be absent from Bermuda, or to travel to or from Bermuda, on polling day;
  • election officials and other persons referred to in section 40[2A] of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978 [the Act];
  • aged 65 years or over;
  • incapacitated voters referred to in section 41 of the Act.

Polling station locations for the advanced poll on 16, 17 and 18 September 2020 are:

  • Constituencies 1-9 – Midland Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall, Hamilton Parish
  • Constituencies 10-18 – National Sports Center, Sports Pavilion
  • Constituencies 19-27 – St Paul AME Church Hall, City of Hamilton
  • Constituencies 28-36 – St. Mary’s Church Hall, Warwick

Polling station locations for the advanced poll on 19 September 2020 are:

  • Constituencies 1-18 – Bermuda College, Cafeteria, Paget
  • Constituencies 19-36 – St. Mary’s Church Hall, Warwick

Advanced poll certificates are available at the respective polling stations as listed above. Travellers must come with a hard copy of their confirmed travel arrangements.
