Video: Sunday Oct 25th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Aleisha Hollis was called to the Bermuda Bar, the Hamilton Princess has given away more than a dozen two-night stays to emergency services, and Cashun Brangman, Lashuntae Dill-Assing, Deja Grant, Messiah Greaves, Solomon Pearman, and Davondra Sealey all received Knowledge Quest-HSBC Scholarships were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In football related good news, D’Andre Wainwright scored a hat trick for Billingham Synthonia, Willie Clemons scored for Dalkurd in Sweden, Ajani Burchall scored twice for AFC Bournemouth Academy, Z’Dao Dill scored in an FAB Academy win, Keuana Dill scored in a Norwich win, and Leilanni Nesbeth scored for Florida State.
Other good news stories included Katherine Grainge being awarded a full scholarship to the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, Bacardi unveiling sustainable spirits bottle plans, L&G Re being awarded ‘Life Transaction of the Year,’ Tobacco Bay earning the WTTC Safe Travels Stamp, Raleigh Bermuda celebrating the graduation of 13 young Bermudians who completed the 2019 Venturers’ Programme and The View’s Joy Behar telling viewers that she is ‘fantasizing about a beach in Bermuda,’
