News that Aliana King was featured in a Redken campaign, the Pawsitively Purrfect campaign donated to the Bermuda SPCA, Dale Eve was featured in Spennymoor Town FC’s magazine, and MarketPlace announced the promotions of Mitchell Foote and Michael Cann to store managers were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Scott Barnes won his Karting Class in South Florida, Kenni Thompson was signed by Spanish team Civitas Santa Teresa Badajoz, Madelyn Moore was named the Western Athletic Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week, and Bermuda riders excelled at the FEI Jumping World Challenge.
Other good news stories included Hailey Barbosa being awarded the $5,000 Bermuda Society of Arts Bursary Award, Bernews News & Views interviewing Meredith Andrews and Nikita Robinson, Coralisle Group continuing its community support, and Saltus recognizing its staff with Long Service Awards.
