UK & USA Clubs Congratulate Bermuda Players
International clubs took to Twitter to congratulate their Bermudian players for their role in Bermuda’s impressive 8-1 victory over Barbados.
Bristol City FC congratulated Nahki Wells who scored a hat-trick, including the fastest goal in Gold Cup history in only 17 seconds.
Charleston Battery congratulated Zeiko Lewis, with the club tweeting, “Dazzling on the international stage. Zeiko helped power Bermuda into the second preliminary round of the Gold Cup with one goal and three assists!”
Kane Crichlow also scored an impressive goal for Bermuda, with Watford FC Academy tweeting, “Kane Crichlow, take a bow! Our U23s forward scored this beauty for Bermuda FA in a Gold Cup Qualifier.”
Solihull Moors FC also tweeted, “Congratulations to Justin Donawa who played for full 90 minutes for Bermuda FA in their 8-1 win over Barbados! Bermuda will now play Haiti on Wednesday for a place in the Gold Cup 2021.”
