City Postpones Taste Of Bermuda Due To Covid
Citing the increase Covid-19 cases, the City of Hamilton said the Taste of Bermuda Drive-In Experience– which was scheduled to take place from September 24-26 — has been postponed.
A spokesperson said, “Due to the rise of Covid-19 infections in Bermuda, the City of Hamilton regrets to inform the public that this year’s Taste of Bermuda Drive-In Experience, scheduled to take place in Par-La-Ville Car Park September 24-26, has been postponed. The new date is yet to be decided.”
The City’s Director of Marketing & Communications Jessica Astwood said: “While we are extremely disappointed, the health of the community must be, as always, our first priority. Given this current climate, with cases on the rise, we felt this was the most responsible way forward.
“A huge debt of thanks must be paid to all those vendors, sponsors and logistical teams that were due to participate in the event. We hope to hold Taste of Bermuda as soon as it is safe to do so. Any questions about Taste of Bermuda can be sent to events@cityhall.bm.”
