Shield: Boulevard Blazers 2 – Paget Lions 0 – After Extra Time
The Boulevard Blazers and the Paget Lions were in need of extra time after the two ended regulation scoreless in this Shield match at the BAA Field.
The Boulevard Blazers scored twice in extra time to earn the 2 – 0 win and advance. Takeyhi Walker Samuels scored in the 108th minute for the Boulevard Blazers, with Kenyade McQueen doubling the lead in the 118th minute.
Friendship: Dandy Town Hornets 3 – St. George’s Colts 0
The Dandy Town Hornets scored three goals in the first 38 minutes to defeat the St. George’s Colts 3 – 0.
Tomiko Goater gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the fifth minute, Nizigh Spence doubled the lead in the 28th minute, and nine minutes later it was 3 – 0 through an own goal.
Neither team scored for the remainder of the match as the Dandy Town Hornets advanced.
FA Challenge Cup: St. David’s 0 – Robin Hood 3
At the Devonshire Recreation Club, Robin Hood took a 1 – 0 lead in the ninth minute of their FA Challenge Cup match against St. David’s.
Chae Brangman found the back of the net from the penalty spot to give Robin Hood a lead they held at the break.
Robin Hood doubled the lead in the 76th minute when Niyan Outerbridge scored, and in the 85th minute Cody Robinson scored a header to seal the win for Robin Hood, who advance to face the PHC Zebras.
