Bermuda Defeat Guyana To Qualify For CAC
The Bermuda women’s hockey team has qualified for the Central American & Caribbean Games following their impressive 1 – 0 win over Guyana at the National Sports Center this afternoon [April 16].
Mallory Towlson scored the winning field goal in today’s match [gif below] which marks the team’s second win of the tournament, and Bermuda now leads the Women’s Group with one match to play, as they have 6 points, while Puerto Rico has four, Jamaica has one and Guyana has zero.
The Pan American Hockey Federation [PAHF] tweeted the photo below, saying, “CAC here they go! Congratulations Bermuda hockey!”
