Football: Somerset Big Ballers & BAA Win
The Somerset Big Ballers claimed the double season victory after they came from behind to defeat the PHC Lady Zebras 2 – 1 at the National Sports Center Flora Duffy South Field Stadium.
Akelya Furbert gave the PHC Lady Zebras the lead in the 14th minute, but the Somerset Big Ballers drew level in the 29th minute when Kimika Jackson scored.
Jya Ratteray-Smith put the Somerset Big Ballers in front in the 32nd minute and that goal proved to be the winner.
Men’s Under 23 Knock Out Final: BAA 3 Somerset Trojans 0
BAA was crowned the Men’s Under 23 Knock Out Champions after they defeated the Somerset Trojans at the National Sports Center Flora Duffy South Field Stadium.
Benjamin Osset gave BAA the lead in the 18th minute, Patrick Quinn doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, and then seven minutes later it was 3 – 0 to BAA following an own goal.
