Somerset Trojans Win Dudley Eve Title
The Somerset Trojans were crowned the Dudley Eve Champions after defeating the Devonshire Cougars 3 – 2.
The Somerset Trojans took a 1 – 0 lead in the 38th minute when Jaz Ratteray Smith converted from the penalty spot, and they took that lead to the break.
The Somerset Trojans lead was doubled in the 47th minute when Khairi Joyiens capitalized on a defensive error at the back post, and then in the 69th minute DeAndre Wainwright made it 3 – 0 to the Somerset Trojans when he converted from the penalty spot.
The Devonshire Cougars would pull a goal back in the 81st minute when Domico Coddington scored and Demetre Daniels then scored in stoppage time to pull the Devonshire Cougars within one, however the clock ran out with the score at 3-2, with Somerset Trojans celebrating the victory.
