Court House Squash & Wellness, in collaboration with thirty local companies who donated raffle prizes, raised $5,680 for cancer patient care.

A spokesperson said, “Since opening in 2009, Court House Squash & Wellness has held several fitness-focused fundraising events to raise money for local charities. The Court House annual Members Christmas Party has been an additional opportunity to give back to the community, where proceeds from ticket and raffle sales go to charity.

“The Bermuda Red Cross, Bermuda Diabetes Association, Friends of Hospice, Beyond Rugby and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bermuda are a few charities that have been recipients of the fitness centre’s charitable initiatives.

“As a team, we chose to support P.A.L.S. Cancer Care in Bermuda as the 40-year-old charity plays a critical role in caring for cancer patients and their families.”

The spokesperson said, “In collaboration with thirty local companies who donated raffle prizes, Court House and its membership raised $5,680 for cancer patient care.”

Colleen English De Grilla, executive director of P.A.L.S. Cancer Care in Bermuda, shared, “P.A.L.S. is so appreciative of the wonderful donation given by Court House Squash and Wellness, especially during the holidays when there are so many worthy charities needing assistance.
