Bermuda’s Optimist Sailors Continue in Florida
Three more races were sailed in the 2022 Tuuci Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta, with six Bermuda sailors taking to the water off the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Florida.
A total of 215 sailors were back on the water battling it out in the Optimist Fleet, with three more races sailed on day three, taking the series to nine races.
Trystan Hocking continues leading the Bermuda fleet with 252 points and is in 70th place. The next Bermuda sailor in the fleet is Dylan Menzies, who is in 98th place with 235 points. Oliver Soares is in 109th with 269 points, Finbar Lohan is in 173rd with 346 points, and Brady Mackay is 180th with 366 points.
In the Green Fleet, Calypso Coulter completed the three races and came off the water in 57th place with 634 points.
