News that Protoje performed a song produced by Rian ’8track’ Williams on NBC’s Tonight Show, Front Row Soccer featured a story about Randy Horton, calling him “Cosmos’ first scoring sensation,” Chatmore British International School students sang to an Action on Alzheimer’s & Dementia group, Gombeys were out to celebrate the New Year, and Off Level BDA donated $1,350 to teachers were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Natasha Trott, Stefan Maybury, and Clinton Hayward are on the FIFA 2023 Refereeing International List, Bermuda Ball Hockey National Team coach Gary Crossman has been named ISBHF coach of the year, Mia Fishel is the World Top Division Female Goalscorer, and Bermuda riders earned top spots at CEA events.
Other good news stories included Restaurant Weeks getting set to run from January 19th to February 28th, Bermuda’s Pink Sale offering up to 50% off accommodations, the talented team behind the Bermuda Sandcastle Competition wishing the public a happy new year, and Wallpaper Wednesday featuring the Spittal Pond Nature Reserve.
