Christmas Chronicles Fresh Air Films On Dec 15
The City of Hamilton announced its upcoming Fresh Air Films event on December 15th, 2023, at Queen Elizabeth Park, featuring two movies, “The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two” and “The Night Before.”
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton is delighted to announce its next Fresh Air Films event which will take place on Friday, December 15th, 2023, in Queen Elizabeth Park [formerly Par-la-Ville Park].
“The first showing will feature The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two [2020 - Rated PG] at 6:30pm and the second movie of the night, The Night Before [2015 - Rated R], will start at 8:30pm. Admission is free and gates open at 5:30pm.
“Parents and guardians should be aware that the second movie of the evening is not suitable for children due to strong language and mature subject matter.”
“We’re excited to bring our Winter Pajama Edition of Fresh Air Films back to beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park for the series’ finale event of the year,” explained Director of Marketing & Communications Ms Jessica Astwood. “The holiday spirit is already in the air, and we are excited to close the year with this public favourite.”
The spokesperson said, “Food and snacks will be available for purchase from on-site vendors including Hot Dog Delight and Novel Tea.
“Those wanting to show off their favourite holiday sleepwear are encouraged to wear pajamas, get comfortable, and take in the merriment of the festive season as they enjoy some holiday classics.
“Movie-goers are also encouraged to patronize City restaurants and bring their own take-out dinners to enjoy during the films. Suggested parking is at any of the nearby car parks including Par-la-Ville Car Park, Number One Car Park, or City Hall Car Park.
“In the event of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled.”
