Turkey Trot Run/Walk This Sunday
The annual 8K Turkey Trot Run/Walk will take place on Sunday [Dec 3].
A spokesperson said, “Swan’s Running Club is excited to announce the much-anticipated Annual 8K Turkey Trot Run/Walk, sponsored by Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center. The festive event is set to take place on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, starting at 8:00 AM on the grounds of Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center at 7 Northshore Road, Devonshire.

“This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages, with a minimum race registration age of 12 and up. Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to join in the holiday spirit and register for the event through RunSignup.
“Categories and Prizes: Over 30 winners will be awarded prizes across various categories and age groups, adding an extra element of competition and fun to the race. Gift certificates and discounts on healthcare, beauty and aesthetics are always crowd favorites, especially in this economy when residents are aiming to save money. Some categories include:

“Volunteer Opportunities: The Turkey Trott Race Officials are actively seeking community race volunteers. Those interested in contributing to the event’s success can email Gracellil@nmac.bm to sign up as a volunteer. If you just want to watch the racers, you are encouraged to help cheer them on as well. For the first 100 people, participants [registrant or volunteer] will receive a NMAC gift set.
“Dress Up for Fun: This year, participants are encouraged to showcase their creativity by dressing up in their favorite holiday costumes. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed individuals and groups, making the Turkey Trot not just a race but a festive celebration for friends, family, businesses, organizations, and bestie groups. Past costumes have included racers dressed as turkeys, Northshore medical center doctors, Natives/Indians, Santa, chefs and more. See Photos.
