Police Investigating Robbery At Food Hub
Police responded to a report of a robbery at Food Hub on Angle Street, stating that “one of the suspects entered the premises and apparently brandished a firearm to the female staff member.”
A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:40pm Monday, 4th December 2023, police responded to a report of a robbery which occurred at the Food Hub on Angle Street, Pembroke.
“It was reported that two males arrived at the location on a black motorcycle. One of the suspects entered the premises and apparently brandished a firearm to the female staff member. The second suspect waited outside on the motorcycle.
“A quantity of cash was removed from the cash register and the first suspect left the establishment on the motorcycle with the waiting accomplice. No persons were injured in the incident.
“The male suspect who entered the premises is described as 6’2” in height, skinny, had on dark coloured pants, a dark coloured jacket and a black helmet with a dark coloured visor. The second suspect was described as 5’ 3” in height and wore all black clothing.
